Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by Justin Taylor – Remedial Massage Therapist, operating in Ranelagh, Tasmania. By booking or attending a session, you agree to the following terms:

1. Appointments

  • All treatments are by appointment only.
  • You may book online, via email, phone, or in person.
  • Please arrive 5–10 minutes early for your appointment, especially if it is your first time.
  • Late arrivals may result in a shortened session at full fee to respect other clients’ bookings.

2. Cancellation Policy

  • 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee up to the full cost of the session.
  • Missed appointments (“no-shows”) will be billed at the full session rate.

We understand that emergencies happen — please contact us directly if something unforeseen arises.

3. Payment and Fees

  • Fees are due at the time of your appointment unless otherwise arranged.
  • Accepted payment methods include EFTPOS, credit/debit card, and cash.
  • Health fund rebates may be available depending on your cover — a receipt will be issued for you to claim directly.
  • Prices are subject to change. All fees are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.
  • You agree to provide accurate and complete health information, including existing injuries, conditions, or medications.
  • You must inform your therapist of any changes to your health prior to treatment.
  • All treatments require your informed consent. You may withdraw consent and request modification of the treatment at any time.
  • If the therapist determines that massage may not be appropriate for your condition, they may recommend an alternative provider or treatment plan.

5. Professional Conduct

  • This is a professional therapeutic practice. Any behaviour that is threatening, inappropriate, or sexually suggestive will result in immediate termination of the session, and full fees will still apply.
  • Justin reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who behaves inappropriately or breaches these terms.

6. Confidentiality

  • All client information and treatment records are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  • Your information will never be shared without your consent, unless required by law.

7. Gift Vouchers

  • Gift vouchers are non-refundable and valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
  • Vouchers are transferable but not redeemable for cash.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • While every care is taken to provide safe and effective treatment, massage therapy does not replace medical care.
  • By attending a session, you acknowledge that massage is complementary and that any health outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Tasmania and the Commonwealth of Australia.
