Therapeutic, consistent support for long-term Chronic Pain

Chronic pain doesn’t play by the same rules as a pulled muscle or an acute injury. It’s layered, persistent, and often deeply intertwined with how we move, work, rest, and experience stress. My chronic pain management massage approach is gentle, collaborative, and long-term. There’s no “quick fix” promise here — just a commitment to working with you over time to explore what your body needs and how it responds. Through soft tissue work, body awareness, pacing strategies, and education, I support clients living with conditions like fibromyalgia, recurring injuries, nerve sensitivity, and postural strain.

Listening to Your Pain Story

We begin with an open conversation about your history with pain — when it started, how it behaves, and what you’ve tried so far. This helps build trust and creates a foundation for working at your pace, with your comfort front and centre.

Respect your lived experience with chronic pain

Tailor approach to avoid flare-ups or over-treatment

Adjust techniques based on sensitivity and fatigue levels

Gentle, Adaptive Massage Techniques

Using a mix of light remedial massage, myofascial release, and nervous system-aware techniques, I support your body without overwhelming it. These sessions may evolve slowly over time as we learn what works best for you.

Apply non-invasive, slow massage techniques

Work around pain patterns rather than through them

Adjust in real time based on your body’s response

Incorporate breath and stillness as part of the session

Building a Sustainable Care Plan

Ongoing care is essential for chronic pain. I’ll offer strategies outside the clinic that might help — like gentle movement, pacing techniques, or posture awareness. You’ll never be rushed. The goal is consistency, relief, and empowerment.

Encourage body awareness and pacing

Discuss gentle at-home strategies between sessions

Support physical and emotional load without judgment

Build a therapeutic rhythm that suits your life and capacity

Massage should never be painful. Some techniques may feel intense, but we’ll always work within your comfort zone. I’ll check in regularly and adjust as needed.
